We had to have front door bell wiring completely redone.
We’ve used Rich Brown and his electricians for over 15 years (for more than one residence). We can not be happier with the work Rich has done over the years. He explains exactly what needs to be done and how much it will be. He even tells you what CAN be done, but doesn’t HAVE to be done. We haven’t priced around for years- I’m sure some newer or more corporate companies can give a slightly cheaper estimate, but nobody will give you better or more honest work. And we really have never had a problem-but if something came up, Rich is the owner and he’s the one who calls you back.

Prompt service, competetively priced. Nice job.

I bought a fixer upper and needed to get the house up to code. They replaced the service from the street to the house and upgraded from a fuse box to a 200 amp service; put in ground faults and fixtures throughout the house. I had one section of the house that did not have any power even though all appeared fine.
They were extremely professional! In when they said, out when they said. All was done neatly and cleanly. I have more renovations to be done and I am definitely using them for the electrical work!

We had an electrical concern. We had vinyl siding put on our home a few years back. The nails that were used should have been shorter. Our concern was that the wires and outlets could have been compromised. In the past three years we have not had any issues. We decided to install AFCIs to help detect if the nails had caused any problems.
As the company owner, Richard, initially came to the home site in order to allow the customer to directly register concerns, including the possibility of arcing, which is a potential fire hazard. He listened to the customer with great patience. Richard was very courteous and professional in manner and appearance. While his recommendation of AFCI (9) installation addressed the customers main concern (again possible arcing), he had made related observations and presented appropriate remedies (e.g. installation of a new cable and surge protector). At the time of AFCI installation, Richard was confronted with the problem of an AFCI tripping. Utilization of a methodical troubleshooting approach proved successful in determining the cause, thus minimizing on time and expense. Additionally, Richard is very reliable (e.g. returning of phone calls). His costs were very reasonable (i.e. approximately one-half of one of the competitors’ bids). Richard took on successfully the challenge (i.e. retrofitting of new technology involving AFCIs (now required by code in new construction) in an older home) where many other electricians were reluctant to do so. Richard comes highly recommend by my wife & I.
